If you are assisting a family member or employee to register for a class, there are steps that the student will have to complete themself.
A new student will need to:
- create their Workforce student account
- go through the domicile process
- complete the application for financial assistance or opt out for it
A previous Workforce Student may need to:
- log into their account
- go through the domicile process and complete the application for financial assistance depending on how long ago they last took a class with us.
After the student has gone through these steps, family members or employers are welcome to call the Workforce Office or come in person to one of our offices to pay for the student to be registered for their class.
*Disclaimer: Even if you pay for a student to take a class, you will not have access to their records (grades, attendance, etc) unless they complete an Authorization to Release Information form. This is true for all students – including those who are under 18.
The potential student will need to follow these steps to create a student profile with Workforce Solutions:
1. Go to the Laurel Ridge Workforce Solutions website, and click on Register Now in the upper left corner to enter the registration area.
2. In the registration area, select LOGIN/CREATE ACCOUNT at the top left of the page.
