If you have an emergency situation and need to let your instructor know that you will be absent from class, you may either fill up a form under the “current student” category to let us know or call the Workforce Office at 540-868-7021 and we will reach out to your instructor on your behalf.
If you know in advance that you are going to be absent from class, please make arrangements with your instructor prior to your absence to see how you can stay caught up on your class work. Keep in mind that Workforce Solutions classes have attendance requirements tied to successful completion of the class.
Instructors normally give their contact information to their students on the first day of class so check any documents that you received on the first day of class.
